Springfield, Ill., Sept. 19, 2016— Legal Files Software, Inc., developer of the popular Legal Files matter and office case management software for hr, today announced that it will license its software to the University of Connecticut’s Department of Human Resources. The UCONN HR Department joins the University’s Office of General Counsel, Office of Diversity and Equity, Office of Labor Relations and the Office of Institutional Equity as Legal Files clients.
“Legal Files is used in many offices at the University, so naturally we wanted to review it to see if it would meet our requirements,” said the Department’s Paula Enderle.
The Department plans to use Legal Files to electronically manage tasks, documents and files related to such items as benefits, workers compensation, the Family Medical Leave Act and the American with Disabilities Act.
“I think many people hear ‘Legal Files’ and think our application is only for the legal market, but Legal Files is intended for, and is being successfully used by, many different kinds of businesses,” said Legal Files CEO John Kanoski. “Legal Files is used to connect and unify existing systems, integrate multi-location and geographically dispersed organizations, and improve inter-office and customer communication,” he said, adding that “all kinds of organizations can benefit from that.”
In addition to the licensing of its legal case software, Legal Files Software, Inc. is providing project management, implementation assistance and training.
