Springfield, Ill., Jan. 7, 2016—Indiana Tech Law School has chosen to implement Legal Files, the leading case management system developed by Legal Files Software Inc., in its innovative clinical program. - The cross-curricular model, which requires students to litigate a hypothetical case from the initial client interview to the appellate brief in the first three semesters of law school.
- A six-semester, thirteen-credit required legal writing program that emphasizes litigation and transactional drafting in a variety of real-world contexts.
- Robust clinical opportunities, including the United States Supreme Court Amicus Project, the Appellate Litigation Clinic (which enables students to brief and argue cases before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals), the Federal Judicial Intern Practicum, and the Mediation Clinic.
The Law School’s innovative curriculum trains students to think, write, and practice like lawyers at the highest levels of the profession, and strives to develop in each student the core legal competencies needed to successfully practice law upon graduation.
