“Legal Files gives us the customization tools to build a system based on what is important to us now, and the flexibility for us to make changes later on if needed.”
Legal Files Software, Inc. has entered into a contract with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence to implement its legal case and legal matter management software for the Diocesan Marriage Tribunal Office.
The Diocese’s new Legal Files system will be used to meet Catholic canon government case management and reporting requirements of the tribunal, according to the diocese’s Matthew Orzolek. The tribunal consists of specially trained and experienced priests and laypersons who judge the canonical validity of failed marriages.
“What drew us to Legal Files was its powerful flexibility. With any kind of software implementation, there’s always this huge concern about wanting to get every little detail right on Day One, but you also don’t want to get ‘pigeon holed’ into a situation that would limit future expansion of the system,” Orzolek explained.
“Legal Files gives us the customization tools to build a system based on what is important to us now,” he said, “and the flexibility for us to make changes later on if needed.”
