When Donte Tamprateep was charged with finding a software system to support Imo’s Franchising’s new in-house counsel operations, he turned to Google. Feeling whimsical, he entered “best darn in house legal document management software” in his browser, and the name Legal Files popped up.
“As a franchising operation, we wanted an application that could provide a robust document generation capability for franchise agreements especially,” Tamprateep said. “But we also wanted the capability to electronically manage those franchise agreements, as well as leases, vendor agreements, trademark issues, and the like.”
More in depth research followed and two months later, the company that’s helping Imo’s Pizza grow from its St. Louis roots, contracted with Legal Files Software, Inc. to provide its namesake case and matter management application, as well as installation and implementation services. Legal Software also provides a comprehensive document assembly/legal document management systems that is built into the native application.
“Initially, our primary focus will be on franchising agreements, contracts, intellectual property and corporate entities with a view to adding on in the future,” Tamprateep said. “Legal Files will be able to accommodate our operations now and in the future. It can grow with us, so we feel confident that we found exactly what we were looking for.”
