Springfield, Ill., Feb. 8, 2016—The City of Fort Worth has signed an agreement with Legal Files Software, Inc. to license and implement Legal Files’ electronic legal matter management system for the City Attorney’ Office, the software company announced today.
Legal Files Software is a proven product and is being used by legal offices in numerous public organizations throughout the country. The purchasing of this software system will enable the City Attorney’s Office to optimize business processes and improve customer service.
The City Attorney’s Office provides transactional and advisory services as general counsel, and provides litigation law software to the sixteenth largest city in the nation, handling the bulk of lawsuits in-house. Legal Files matter management system will be utilized to assist the City Attorney’s Office in the management of files and documents for ease of retrieval, editing and file creation.
The City of Fort Worth sought solutions from qualified vendors for a comprehensive, full featured electronic file management system for the City Attorney’s Office through a formal procurement process that included a Request for Information for a comprehensive, full featured electric file management system. After reviewing responses from seven vendors, conducting demonstrations with four vendors, and completing some additional research and due diligence, it was determined that Legal Files Software, Inc. provided the best solution for the needs of the City Attorney’s Office.
