“We looked at other systems, but found them too expensive and complex to set up. Legal Files is a great fit for us.”
The City Attorney’s Office of Snoqualmie, Wash., has chosen to implement Legal Files, the leading legal management solution from Legal Files Software, Inc., the software developer announced today.
“Our main goal is to streamline matters for multiple departments and litigation cases,” explains City Attorney Robert C. Sterbank. “We looked at other systems, but found them too expensive and complex to set up. Legal Files is a great fit for us.”
Snoqualmie’s City Attorney’s Office is responsible for managing a wide range of matters including litigation, contracts, employment, construction and land use. “We’ll use Legal Files to help us with all of that since it can handle any type of matter,” Legal Assistant Reina McCauley said. “More importantly, we can manage how we want since we can customize Legal Files to meet our specific needs and processes.”
The win for Legal Files Software is the result of formal procurement process that began when the City issued a Request for Proposal for a Legal Practice Management Software System for the City Attorney’s Office.
The City Attorney plans to use Legal Files to manage electronic and paper files, track and store emails and contact information, calendar litigation matters and track time spent on various matters by department for planning and billing purposes.
